While searching on the net for information about the next Wordpress update, 2.4, i found out that Wordpress 2.4 is being skipped because it was meant to be released on the 24th of January 08. This didn’t happen and the developers have decided to skip 2.4 and move on to 2.5.
Wordpress 2.5 is supposed to be released at the end of March sometime, and WILL require PHP 4.3 so check with your hosting company to see if they will update their PHP version to 4.3, or they might already support this.
Anyway, here is a demo site featuring Wordpress 2.5.

It looks like we will have to get used to the new layout and design. I hope those Google ads aren’t permanent and the hoster has only put them in for demo revenue. So there you have it, Wordpress 2.5.
They aren’t permanent.. I did it because I actually had to move hosts due to the amount of traffic I was receiving.
Thanks for clearing that up. I thought the developers of Wordpress may have put them in.
