The easiest way to remove the virus is running an anti virus scan or spyware scan. Here is a good one to start with. The next step is to run a registry cleaner to remove the virus from the registry. This is a good one and so is this.

If you think you have got rid of the virus, start protecting your computer by using an anti virus and firewall software. AVG is a good free anti virus tool to protect yourself from viruses. Zone Alarm is a good free firewall to use to protect yourself from hackers.

I can’t do anymore than tell you to run anti viruses, keep up to date, don’t click any links within messenger unless you trust the source. If you get a link sent to you on MSN Messenger, ask the sender what it is first, chances are they will most likely respond with “what link” then you will know it’s a link to a virus.
