I think i have a problem because i check my stats every single day, multiple times a day!  While checking your stats is a good way of seeing how well your site is doing, there is no need to check them every couple of hours like i do. I also login to my feedburner account to see if i’ve any new subscribers but i know i won’t have because my blog isn’t popular yet.

I use Google Analytics to check my vistor stats. Google Analytics is probably the most popular tool for checking stats, i also use the stat checker with the hosting company i’m with. I think i’m statistically addicted!

You know your addicted to Web Statistics if…

1. You check your stats more than once a day knowing they will have not changed because they update the following day.

2. You use more than one source to check stats, e.g cpanel, google analytics, statcounter etc.

3. As soon as you turn your computer on, you immediately go to check your stats.

4. When you go on holiday you can’t wait to get back to check your stats, if you didn’t already check them while your on holiday!

5. You spend most of your time thinking about ways to increase your statistics.

6. You spend more time looking at statistics than actual blogging or developing your site!

7. You day dream about web statistics!

8. You compare your stats against your rivals and try and better them.
