What is Technorati?
Technorati is a search engine for blogs. If your looking for a specific blog, then you would use Technorati to try and find it for you. It is free of charge to join.
Technorati indexes over 112 million weblogs as of December 2007. This is a huge number shows just how busy the blogosphere is. What i like about Technorati is the fact that you can search by tags. A tag is basically a category, for example, this is listed under Ramblings, so Ramblings would be the tag. For example you can search for anything that is in my Movie Reviews category if you were to find a specific movie.
If your blog is well optimised it’s a good way of getting free traffic and will look good if you get your ranking up.
I’m testing Technorati at the moment to see if i can drive more traffic to this blog. I will post results as i get them in and see if it for you to join if you have a blog.
