HD-DVD is dead, Toshiba President announces
This morning i was watching BBC News and the Toshiba president was talking about if the company stayed in the HD-DVD business they could go bust. Toshiba have officially announce that they had to drop out of the HD-DVD business giving Blu-ray the clear winner and great victory to Sony.
Did the Playstation 3 help with this?
I mean Blu-ray players were way more expensive than HD-DVD players and even some of the movies were cheaper. I didn’t back any of the format, i bought a PS3, but didn’t buy it for the blu-ray drive, i still would have bought it even if it didn’t have a Blu-ray drive.
Anyway, heres a video of the Toshiba President announcing that HD-DVD is dead…
