WOW is all i can say about this. CryENGINE2 is almost identical to actual real life which is incredible.

What is CryENGINE2?

CryENGINE2 is a game engine and is currently used for the PC game, Crysis. It is developed by Crytek.

What is a game engine?

A game engine is used as a component for video games with real time graphics and it allows games to run on multiple platforms. Game engines control everything within that game such as the rendering, sound, animation, scripting, artificial intelligence etc.

Once the game engine is created it’s very easy to use that engine for many differen’t games which is why you see “Unreal Technology” when you load games that use the Unreal Engine. It’s harder to create a game engine and then the game from scratch, but easier to use an existing engine to create a new game.
