The Playstation 3, one of my most loved piece of technology i own, i spend most of my spare time on this thing collecting trophies. Trophies are earnt by reaching milestones in games, and are very easy, easy, medium and hard, in other words, bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
An example of earning a trophy would be by killing 50 enemies for a bronze, killing 50 enemies in a row without dieing for a silver, kill 1000 enemies for a gold and the platinum is earnt when you’ve unlocked all bronze, silver and gold. So far i have 2 platinums, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Terminator Salvation.
Terminator Salvation is by far the easiest platinum trophy to get, all you need to do is play through the game on the hardest setting and Kudos! You’ve unlocked the platinum. This was also the first platinum i earnt.
The platinums i plan to earn before Xmas are; Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Dead Space and the next most likely earnt platinum, Tomb Raider Underworld.
I think the trophy system adds alot of replay value because i find myself going back to older games to try and get the best out of them.
