Basically PicNik is an online photo editor that works in your browser. Think of it as an online Photoshop but doesn’t have as many features. I was amazed when i first saw this because you can do some pretty cool stuff that would maybe take an hours time in Photoshop.

Not only that but you can import all your photo’s where ever they are hosted including Flickr, Photobucket and Facebook.

PicNik host aload of features including:

Wheres Nigel?

As you can see it’s nicely layed out and provides popular news from websites such as digg, newsvine.com, google news and yahoo news. Some websites i’ve never even heard of but that’s not to drive you away from Popurls.com. Not only does it show you the latest headlines, it can also show the most popular videos from YouTube and other video sites. The same goes for images from flickr etc.

Popurls.com has some very nice features packed in, and this is probably the best one – when you rollover a headline, it shows excerpts of the content like so:

There is a nice tool bar that works very well. You can switch background colour, make the fonts bigger, hide today’s popular headlines and more.

A nice idea and it’s the first website i’ve seen do this, i felt i had to post about it to let you guys and gals visit and see what you think of it.

The designers who photoshopped these images must be brilliant at what they do, i really like their creativity and hard work that goes into such images. A friend of mine gave me a link to this page to check out the images and i had to blog about them to show you guys.

There are a few disturbing ones which i didn’t particular like, but they should be ok to look at. (no, none of them contain nudity).

How cool is that? You click anywhere on the picture and it zooms in, into smaller thumbnails of the next available pictures, yet the thumbnails still represent the previous main picture. Theres an unlimited amount of pictures here, you might bump into the same ones here and there.

I spent around an hour on this site clicking through different pictures. God knows how long this took to develop.
