On Valentines Day i went to watch Bolton beat Athletico Madrid 1-0, it was an ok match nothing spectacular. I truly thought Athletico Madrid would have fought back in the second leg and take the win, but Bolton managed to keep it to a 1-0 win on aggregate.

Having watched the home game at the Reebok Stadium, i’m glad to say that i’m going to be watching Bolton take on Sporting Lisbon in the fourth round of the UEFA Cup. The match is on the 6th March with a 7 o clock kick off.

I will be booking the tickets this week and i’m also glad to say that my girlfriend wants to come as well. I mentioned previously that i ran into a problem that the Bolton vs Madrid match was on Valentines Day and thought my girlfriend would hit the roof, but surpisingly she wasn’t bothered and came with us to the match.

Could Bolton make another spectacle win?
