Blog updated and top bar implemented

You should be able to see my top bar that i created to improve my blog navigation and accessibility. I think it looks pretty good and makes the blog look a bit more professional. I just need to sort out the RSS section, i will most likely put it where the ‘Welcome to daparky.com’ message is.

Heres a list of what i’ve done to improve my blog recently:

• Similar Posts – Installed Similar Posts plugin that shows a list of similar posts at the end of the actual post.
• Installed Popularity Contest plugin – This displays my ‘Popular Posts’ in the top bar.
• Added code to display ‘Recent Posts’ in the top bar.
• Added code to display ‘Recent Comments’ in the top bar.
• Made my 404 handler better, because before it was displaying directories, so users could see exactly what was in my plugins folder etc.

In the coming week i’m going to improve on security and beef it up a little. Anyway i hope you like the top bar i added.
