All i’ve done today is sort out my PC. It’s a complete mess. During the week it started crashing, and just locking up randomly for no reason. I dealt with it at first, i thought it was just a one off. But it continued to crash and lock up, it would just freeze, the only option was to turn the damn thing off!

So this morning i decided to reinstall Windows XP and format my hard drives. I did this, installed all the drivers etc and it started happening again!

I inspected the PC, opened it up and to my surprise i found heaps of dust, dust was everywhere. I cleared the dust thinking this would fix the problem, i thought it might have been overheating or something.

In the end it turns out that it was my graphics card driver causing the problem. So i went through all that trouble, lost a lot of files i would have liked to of kept, all because it was a graphic card driver error. Crazy.

Am i happy? Yes and No. I did get rid of a lot of crap i didn’t need and now my computer is super fast again.
